- [ ] Keep your résumé brief and focus on the role you apply for
- [ ] Ensure people can learn more about you without you being there
2. During the interview
Discuss your project through:
- Thinking Process:
- [ ] Can you explain your design decisions?
- [ ] How do you interpret the data and research?
- [ ] How do your decisions correlate with customer problems, brand and business strategy?
- Design Process:
- [ ] Do you have solid design foundations (font, colour, spacing, etc.)?
- [ ] How do you turn an idea into execution?
- [ ] How do you manage your design file or work with a design system?
- Communication:
- [ ] How do you iterate your design and communicate with your peers?
- [ ] How do you ensure the design quality meets once built?
- [ ] How do you dealing with conflict, compromise, or confrontation?
3. After the interview
- [ ] If you make it, take care relationship with your previous employer nicely
- [ ] If you’re not, it’s okay, just learn from this time to improve the next one
- [ ] Either way, keep in touch with people you interview with
